Game Development (Java, OpenGL)
OrangeJuice was an early LWJGL-based project focused on creating a first-person real-time strategy game. The quirky name came from an initial water rendering glitch that resulted in an unexpected color. The game features a smoothed-voxel asthetic, which allowed us to create generated worlds without the complexities of heightmap rendering (a technique I explored later in Matella). OrangeJuice was developed in cooperation with a friend who was mainly responsible for the game’s design and assets.
